Outrun By A Golf Cart – The State Of A Nations Police Force

The Utah police force has found that it shouldn’t underestimate the golf cart as a getaway car.

Morgan County Sherriff’s deputies took pursuit after they saw a golf cart spinning doughnuts, doing wheelies and generally tearing it up through Morgan City Park, in Utah.

The chase lasted about five minutes through parking lots and lawns, through downtown Morgan City and finally ending in an alfalfa field where the golf cart got away.
"It wasn't any faster than us, but in the alfalfa field it was jumping irrigation ditches,” said Sheriff's Sgt. Scott Peay. "We couldn't get through the ditches."

Nothing to do with this blog but this is a fast golf buggy. Of sorts.

On Oct. 1, Trev Dawson pleaded guilty in 2nd District Court to the evading charge in a plea-in-abeyance negotiation, meaning he avoids jail with 12 months of good behavior, after which the charge is dismissed.
