Swing Plane

An investigation has begun after a man was found to have landed his plane on the fairway of his local golf course. Robert Kadera and his 14 year old son Isaac were found standing outside their plane on the fairway at the aptly named Crane’s Landing Golf Course, in Lincolnshire, Illinois. When questioned by police, Mr Kadera told police that he wasn’t forced into an emergency landing as first thought, but that his son was late for a tennis lesson at the club across the street from the Marriott owned golf course, and that he’d decided flying would be quicker than walking.

Kadera told police that he’d made several attempts to land before successfully touching down. Lincolnshire police said Mr Kadera made an attempt to get back in the plane afterwards and fly off, but the plane was found to be leaking fuel. The investigation continues, and the State Attorney’s office is trying to determine if criminal charges are warranted.
