Golf - The Musical

Love golf? Like music? Like both golf and music? If any of you are going to be in and around Pittsburgh tomorrow get yourself down to the South Park Theatre for Golf ‘The Musical'.

pittsburghlive.com punned the following:

Join us "on the links" in the swinging, amusing and above "par" musical revue about the ups and downs of one of America's favorite pastimes. Even if you're not a Tiger Woods, this show is sure to score a “hole in one" with such numbers as Plaid, Golfer's Psalm, and My Husband is Playing A Round. “Golf is definitely one of the most fun shows we have to offer this season.  From hilarious songs and sketches to audience participation, it has something to offer everyone” says this season’s artistic director Lauren Connolly.  “We invite everyone to come out to the park and share in this fun theatrical experience.”

It sounds cracking doesn’t it?

But be warned golf and music haven’t always been the greatest of bedfellows. Remember the crooning of John Daly? How about the 'Worksop Warbeler' and the 'Larynx Lancashire' do grievous bodily harm to the Barry Manalow classic Copacabana.

Listen and weep.

Literally.

This is how it should be done.
